Roundabout: Smith Road closes for 14 days at Mount Baker Highway

BELLINGHAM – The west leg of East Smith Road, where it intersects with Mount Baker Highway (State Route 542) east of Bellingham, will close for 14 days starting Monday morning, Sept. 19.
During the two-week closure, the Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor Boss Construction Inc. will continue building a roundabout at the intersection.
