Mission: The Foothills Gazette newspaper will provide eastern Whatcom County with local coverage that informs and entertains readers, allow businesses an affordable advertising outlet, give local communities a forum, and work towards overall betterment and consistent quality of life.
Communities served: Acme, Columbia Valley, Deming, eastern Bellingham, Everson, Glacier, Kendall, Maple Falls, Newhalem, Nooksack, Nugents Corner, Sumas, Van Zandt, Wickersham and all parts in between.
Coverage: All local, all community, all the time. Includes news, sports, features, events, history, outdoors, opinions, classifieds, business and more.
Circulation: The Foothills Gazette encourages readers to share and recycle newspaper editions. Currently, 4,500 copies are circulated each edition from Glacier to Bellingham, Sumas to Sedro Woolley, and beyond, with an outstanding pick-up rate.
Subscriptions: $36/1 year of home delivery or $40/1 year delivery by U.S. Mail or $20 for 6 months. Direct home or business delivery by carrier is available in eastern Whatcom County communities.
Online: All editions of the Foothills Gazette are published online and archived at www.foothillsgazette.com. Web users can also submit events, story ideas, letters and classifieds.
Advertising: For display advertising information, please call (360)599-3320 or e-mail ads@foothillsgazette.com for a complete rate sheet and media kit. Classifieds cost 25¢ per word and can be sent via e-mail, by phone, or mail.
