CERT class available to South Fork residents

A Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) class will be held in the Deming/Van Zandt area starting Sept. 22. The nine-week class will prepare participants to take care of community members during emergencies (such as floods, earthquake, volcano, flu pandemic, etc.). The class will be held Wednesday nights from 7-10 p.m. The cost is $50 per person, and covers materials and supplies.
